Micromax Canvas Knight 2 Specifications


Already many rumours were spreading about the Micromax's next flagship Smartphone, here comes the official news about the Canvas Knight 2. Canvas Knight is till now considered the Flagship smartphone of Micromax.Now the next variant of Canvas Knight 2 is officially launched by Micromax with Dual SIM 4G LTE Facility.

Talking about the Knight 2 it holds a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octacore Processor (1.5GHz Quadcore and 1GHz Quadcore) with 2GB of DDR3 RAM for better Multi Tasking.Like its predecessor this device also has a 5 inch display.But this time IPS panel has been replaced with  AMOLED and the Full HD display found in the Canvas Knight was downgraded to HD Display.On Summing up we will have a 5 inch HD (1280 X 720 ) AMOLED display.The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.




Canvas Knight 2 comes with 16 GB of Onboard storage with a MicroSD card support upto 32GB.The device runs on Android Lollipop 5.0.

It Sports a 13MP Auto Focus Rear Camera with Sony IMX214 CMOS Sensor and Largen 5P Lens.The Front has a 5MP Fixed Focus Camera with  Omnivision  OM5648 sensor with same Largen 5P Lens.The rear camera has a LED Flashlight to capture images at Night.

Premium Built :

The Smartphone has a premium built quality with Metal and Glass materials.Along with it Knight 2 also Possess Wolfson Stereo WM8998 Audio Chipset to provide a better Audio Output.The same chipset was previously used in the YU Yuphoria.

Connectivity :

This is the first smartphone by Micromax to feature Dual SIM with 4G Capability.On Introduction of 4G Micromax made Collaboration with Airtel and Provides free 4G SIM with Double Data offer which means you will get double the amount of data on activating the SIM provided by  Airtel.




Rest of the Connectivity include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with GLONASS and A-GPS support, 3.5mm Audio Jack and a Micro USB 2.0 port for Data Syncing and Charging.

Battery :

The device is powered by a 2260mAh Battery which on paper is stated to give  7 Hours of Talktime.
