The much awaited YU Yuphoria was launched by the company yesterday with a jaw dropping price of INR 6,999.This device consists a metal body and was designed and manufactured by the YU Televentures R&D in India.The biggest USP of the device is its pricing.Aling with this device YU also launched YU Fit band and HealthYu Cassette for Fitness and health tracking.

The phone features a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass on top for protection and Lamination technology for Crisper Images and greater visibility under direct sunlight.Under the hood the device holds a 1.2 GHz Quadcore 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor (MSM 8916) coupled with Adreno A306 GPU clocked at 400MHz. With this it has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory along with slot for expansion by MicroSD card upto 64GB.

For Camera enthusiasts this device holds a 8 MP Rear camera which is nowadays common in budget devices.The rear camera has a LED flash with capability for Full HD 1080p recording at 30 FPS and 720p HD recording at 60 FPS and also possess slow motion recording.And for Selfie lovers this device has a 5 MP Fixed Focus Front facing camera with a wide angle lens.

It is powered by a 2230 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 2.0 feature, which can charge your device from 0 - 50% within 45 min of charging.

Everything was perfectly crafted like a premium device including the Audio output from the device. Yes  Yuphoria has enhanced Cirrus Logic Wolfson chipset for better audio experience with ultra low power usage.The device is equipped with AAC speakers which was found to be in High end premium phones.

Talking about the OS it is well known that this device is loaded with Cyanogen Mod with tonnes and tonnes of customization. It runs on CM 12 based on Android Lollipop 5.0 and comes with a lots of features which includes App Themer (Per app Themer ), Cyanogen Email (Powered by Boxer) and True Caller Integration.



Bunch of sensors are included such as 3 axis Gyroscope and Accelerometer, Proximity, Magnetometer and Ambient Light Sensor.

Connectivity includes Dual 4G LTE SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS support, Micro USB 2.0 and a 3.5 mm Audio Jack.

Yuphoria comes in two colour variants as Buffed Steel with Black and Champagne Gold with White.
