Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 E311 - Released Online with Octacore Processor and 2GB RAM - Buy online

Micromax recently launched its new device Unite 3 with Android Lollipop and Gorilla Glass for INR 6,990. Now another device from Canvas Nitro 2 E311 which is formed from its predecessor Nitro A310 /311 is ready for the launch.We already said about the launch of this device, but as per our source we thought it to be another variant of Canvas Knight but unfortunately it falls under Nitro.

The USP of the device is the presence of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which is not there in the Nitro A310/311.This Canvas Nitro 2 runs on MediaTek MT6592 Octacore Processor which is clocked at 1.4GHz with ARM-Mali 450MP4 GPU.Like its predecessor this device also holds 2GB of RAM and 16GB of Memory with MicroSD card support.Like Nitro 1 (A310/311) this device also features 13MP primay camera with Auto Focus and a LED flash and 5MP secondary camera.

On the display front, it features a 5inch IPS LCD display HD 720p ( 1280 x 720 ) resolution.The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass on top of it to prevent scratches.This device has Onscreen buttons instead of Touch capacitive buttons.


Android Version in this device is pretty old (not much old) with Android kitkat 4.4.2 version which might be upgradable to Android  Lollipop 5.0 but no news about update from Micromax.

Canvas Nitro 2 E311 is powered by a 2400 mAh Li-Ion battery.Sensors include Proximity, Light, and Accelerometer.This include standard set of Connectivity features like 3G Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS support, MicroUSB v2.0 and a 3.5 mm Audio Jack.

Verdict:

Except the presence of Corning Gorilla Glass, it is not a better upgrade from its predecessor.
