Last week we shared a news about joining of Micromax and Cyanogenmod.Today we got to know about the first cyanogenmod based Micromax Phone which is now known as the Canvas 5.Some of the specifications of the Phone has been leaked.This phone is to be priced below INR 22,000.
The most attractive portion of this device is its Processor.It is dubbed with a octacore processor.You will think now its almost present in all Micromax Phones but actually its a 64 bit Octacore Processor. This we came to know by Droidgoblin. According to the leaks the Phone will feature a MediaTek MT67xx Chipset which is actually a 64 bit Chip.

Google had implemented 64 bit processor support in their latest Android 5.0 Lollipop so this device will be coming with Android 5.0 Lollipop.The software portion of this device is made by the popular custom ROM maker Cyanogenmod so there will be no issue in further updates.
Further going more about the specifications, this device will feature a 5 inch Full HD display.On seeing the camera part one will be happy to see that this device will feature a 18 MP primary camera along with 5 MP secondary camera.Looks like one will have a wonderful experience with the Camera.
This octacore device is mated along with a 2 GB of RAM which seems to be found in most of the highend devices.The internal storage of the device is 16 GB which can be expandaded by MicroSD card.
This is not officially said by neither Micromax nor Cyanogenmod.Now its actually a rumour news if it comes true both of them will reach a new peak and Micromax will be the third manufacture to partner with Cyanogenmod after OPPO and One Plus.
