Android Lollipop 5.1 Stability patch rolling for users of Android one on Lollipop - Micromax Canvas A1

Seems like Google has forgotten the promise made for the Android One users in India.While the device has been launched it has been stated that the Android One devices will be the first to get the latest updates from Android but its been many months that Android Lollipop was released.Till date users of Android one did not received any glimpse of Android Lollipop.

However in earlier February Google Android One official page stated that they will soon begin to roll Android lollipop update for users.Later February end Official page said that they started to roll out Android Lollipop in India.Connecting on Wifi network will increase the your odds for receiving update.They are sending update for small batch of devices starting from February end.Till now some of the users have received update.But the wait for the update is worth it as Lollipop 5.0 is having some bugs Google releases Android Lollipop 5.1 for Android one users of Bangladesh.The same version of Lollipop is rolling out for India rectifying the bugs found in 5.0.

Now a news has been spreading that within March 23 almost all devices will receive update.If it was true every Android One devices will receive update within 23 March.

Some Tips for readers who dint get update . .

• Always be ready with your device in data connection to know if update has been received on your mobile.
• Free up 450MB of space in your device.
• While updating device keep your charger connected.
• Connect over mobile data connection as said earlier connecting over wi-Fi can increase your odds.

Stability Patch :

A system stability patch has been released by OTA for users in Lollipop.After this patch the build number is changed to LMY471 previously it was LMY470.This patch contains stability and some bugs has been fixed like Hike force close and system boots up quickly.
