We all know that Micromax is lazy on providing updates through FOTA.So only if any Firmware update is available users are not receiving it through their inbuilt updater app.Since a device is launched it will almost get 1 or 2 official updates by Micromax most of the time all the update are bug fixes and rarely Firmware upgrades.
Micromax releases its official Firmware in Moulnisky where users can download those files and flash on their own using SP Flash tools.

What is SP Flash Tool . ?
SP stands for SmartPhone.The name itself says its a tool used for flashing Smartphones.
How to flash using SP Tools .?
Flashing using SP tools is an easy process with simple steps.If you are on the right step then you are there to rock. :p
Pre-Requisites :
- Atleast 70% charged mobile.
- Backup your data in Internal SD to some other place (SD card or PC) ,as during flashing all data will be wiped and also backup IMEI.
- Turn on USB debugging in Developers option in settings.*
- Patience :p
* If you are unable to find developer option in settings,Go to About Phone then tap 7-8 times in Build Number.Now you will find developer option just above the About Phone.

Procedure :
- Extract the downloaded ROM to any folder.
- Install the drivers properly and then Open SP Flash tool as administrator.
- Now click on Scatter loading option.
- Browse for the Scatter file in the extracted ROM folder.
- Now connect your device in switch off condition.(Remove battery if removable type)
- Then Tap on the Download option.
- Now SP Tools will start to flash your device.
- Once green circle appears your device is flashed and you are ready to remove your device from PC.
Thats all you have successfully flashed your device, now start your device.
